What information is collected, and how is it used?

Zeta Minor is committed to protecting your privacy. 

The only personal information we collect about our visitors is provided voluntarily (in emails sent to the site owner, or in the member’s Profile section of Roobarb’s DVD Forum, for example).

Entries to Zeta Minor competitions are sent by email (to competitions@zetaminor.com). The only information we require from competition entrants is a valid email address, so that the winners can be notified (at this point we will need a postal address, so that the prize can be dispatched.)

If you register to use Roobarb’s DVD Forum we require a valid email address, to prevent malicious use of the Forum. Users are also invited to fill out the Profile section of the Forum, but any information submitted here is provided at the discretion of the user. The Forum uses cookies (small pieces of information traded between the forum’s server and your web browser) to keep track of which threads you’ve read, and which threads are new. These cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. Most web browsers process cookies automatically, but you can usually prevent them from being used in your browser settings, if you wish to do so. Logging out of the site will clear your cookies, too. If you do turn cookies off the functionality of Roobarb’s DVD Forum may be compromised. The main Zeta Minor site does not use cookies at all.

Will Zeta Minor or Roobarb's DVD Forum disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

Personal or identifying information will not be passed on to any third party, unless it is deemed by the site owner to be unavoidable (when a prize is being sent directly from the DVD company or their PR agency, for example).

The Roobarb’s DVD Forum members list is publicly accessible, and any information that has been entered by the user can be viewed by anyone, whether they are a registered user or not. Users’ email addresses are accessible only to the Forum administration team, unless the user has also entered them into their Forum profile.

If the site’s Privacy Policy is changed, information about the changes will be posted to this page.
