The set will feature three versions of the film: the original 1977 theatrical version, the 1980 Special Edition, and the 1988 Director's Cut. The DVD edition will be a three-disc set. The Blu-ray edition will use seamless branching to offer all three versions on a single 50Gb disc. The new edition features a new interview with Spielberg, a new production scrapbook, and a "ninety-minute" Making of.. documentary. Both versions have the same RRP: £22.99. Titan will release Bones: The Official Companion - Seasons 1 and 2, a guide to the Sky One series starring Angel's David Boreanaz, on October the 26th. The book will feature exclusive new interviews with cast and crew members, a complete episode guide, and a forward by series writer / producer Kathy Reichs. Please use the links to support Zeta Minor! HD NEWS The BBC has formally announced their first UK HD DVD and Blu-ray titles. Full details of both editions of Planet Earth have been added to the Incoming database, here for Blu-ray and here for HD-DVD. No details of their other HD releases were made available. These are: Robin Hood - Series 1, Hotel Babylon - Series 1, Galapagos, Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky and Bleak House. These have been added to Incoming... Hotel Babylon - HD DVD Blu-ray Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky - HD DVD Blu-ray From the pack-shots on some retailer's websites, it looks like the HD DVD versions of Robin Hood and Hotel Babylon will be HD DVD / DVD Combo discs. EVENT NEWS David Tennant and Freema Agyeman will be signing copies of the Doctor Who - Complete Series 3 DVD set at the 150, Oxford Street branch of HMV on Monday the 5th of November, at 1.30pm Entry to the event will be by wristbands, which will be available from 9am on the 5th. Elisabeth Sladen, star of The Sarah Jane Adventures, will be signing copies of BBC Audiobooks The Glittering Storm and The Thirteenth Stone at the Borders store at 203-207 Oxford Street on October the 27th, between 2 and 4pm. Pictures Home Entertainment will release a 30th Anniversary Ultimate
Edition of Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind on
DVD and Blu-ray on December the 3rd. 
Universal
will release a box set of seventeen films featuring W.C. Fields, on a
ten-disc set, on December the 10th.
Titan
Books will release a graphic novel based on Universal's hit telefantasy
series Heroes on November the 23rd. Artists contributing to the
book include Tim Sale, who created the show's iconic paintings. The cover
is by Alex Ross. The 240-page hardback has an RRP of £17.99 (
