DVD NEWS

Details of Eureka's next Masters of Cinema Series release, Shoeshine, have been added to Incoming.

Revolver Entertainment are releasing two horror titles on September the 25th: Silent Scream and Jekyll and Hyde. Click on the titles for more information. A trailer for Jekyll and Hyde can be found here.

Further to our report of August the 23rd, Second Site have confirmed that their Quest For Fire disc will have a Dolby Digital 5.1 audio track (which wasn't on the review disc they supplied).

Metrodome will release the Jake Gyllenhaal Collection on October the 2nd.

The four-disc set will feature Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut, Moonlight Mile, The Good Girl and Proof. Each title will include the bonus features that were included with the separate discs. The RRP is £29.99.

AUDIOBOOKS NEWS

BBC Audiobooks has semi-officially announced the release of the Dolby Digital 5.1 (DVD Video) version of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy - The Tertiary Phase, Dirk Maggs' adaptation of the third book in Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide series, Life, The Universe and Everything.

In addition to the six episodes with their 5.1 sound mix, the disc will also feature behind-the-scenes video, a photo' gallery, audio extras, and the complete version of the Krikket Song.

The disc is due in October the 10th, with an RRP of £19.99.
