OUT OF THE UNKNOWN

SEASON 1 CLIPS GUIDE

by Colin Cutler

Despite the routine destruction that was the fate of many videotaped productions and telerecordings of this era, the first season of Out of the Unknown has fared remarkably well, with the fortuitous retention of eleven 16mm telerecordings made for the purposes of overseas sales. This currently leaves only two productions missing in their entirety: The Fox and the Forest and Andover and the Android, the latter remaining one of Irene Shubik’s personal favourites from her two year tenure as producer on the series.
